As requested, I figured I'd post this film here because you can learn alot from this film, so here it is.
Description- I ran into zee spit dweebmaster himself, leviathn. What ensues is a crazy 5 minute TnB(of course)fight on the deck.  This is such a hard and fun fight that I seriously had to take a break after it LOL.  Needless to say it was

That was a fun one.  Check out some of the speeds we get down to in the vertical.  Nuts.

Good film thx for posting it.

Looked to me like Levi got caught with pants down on the first merge/set up.  He almost paid the price for it to.  You didnt give an inch of breathing room either.  His extension then remerge looked for more Levi like.

Great flying by both of you.

Nomak, Messiah, Levi etc....

? on Flaps in the spits.. When do you use them (top of scissors etc..) and at what speed do you deploy them.

Also the spits have 1 setting, so are you constantly turning them on and off to keep them at a set degrees, or are you going all the way down with them.

I find the spit "hovers" at full flaps and gets quite unstable.

Appreciate your comments one and all

Hi balsy, nomak, thanks for enjoying the film.

To answer your question about the spit and flaps - the only time I deploy the flaps is when I need to hold the nose up which usually happens in the rolling scissor.  There is also the occasional times when I need to pull a tighter turn which most often occurs when im against other spits or planes with a better turn radius.

And the spits flaps has 1 setting which is full down so no I do not bother with increments, in fact when I deploy flaps in any plane I deploy them as far down as they can go because it usually means I need to turn NOW, and when im done I deploy them ASAP.  About it being unstable at low speed, the spit especially does a move I like to call "the falling leaf" because if you get it slow enough with flaps it literally falls like a leaf.  I have learned to control this stalling spin to do quick reverses which requires hard rudder control.
