hmmm...well, I touched a WWII fighter once at an airshow.  I flew WarBirds into '97 and loved it, and now I fly Aces High and love it even more - mainly due to the features this sim has over WarBirds (head movement, ground vehicles, really big pizzas, etc.)

Every once and a while HT or Pyro will chime into a post here about gyroscopic this and inverse thinga-ma-jobber that and that's about the time I decide they probably know what they're talking about, have another drink and go shooting things.

heh, "Ace"...now I feel special.  Here's another one for that

I`ve flown more than 4 years in Warbirds before I quitted, have not looked back since.

AH rules in all aspects, I actually dont see a single thing WB does better.

Just give it some time, and you will love it, I promise.

I'm with Flakbait. I left warbirds for exactly the same reasons.

Aces High Rocks.

 I have only tested WB for the free 1 month trial some time ago.I didn't like it.Aces High is better,but not perfect.Even with it's small faults AH rules.

Yeah, I played online for about 4 hours once. Soured me on the entire arena concept since it was nothing but a gaggle of P-51s vs some Me 262s. I mostly stuck to offline and the occasional H2H play. Got flamed to Hell for it too.

The only thing that Warbirds has over AH is the plane set.  No early or mid war planes here.

This from someone who never tried a bomber, vehicle, or PT/gunner sortie and only had a little over 4 hours in the MA.  I have to agree with AKDejaVu.
