I also have a 2001 Xterra and am still very happy with it. She's my baby...

Oh and I have the same tires as you. :)

What use is a 4x4 when it's clean, I just don't get it?  It remindes me of when I watch a movie and see some punk holding a handgun sideways.

It's a good thing it says 4x4 on the windshield, or the driver might forget that it can go off road.  ;)

Not sure I'd call it "detailing", but yeah, I washed and waxed it. :)

I wondered what happened to my desert flock.

I lost 4 weeks rental on 7 perfectly groomed sheep because some off roader was being "pushy"

Now I know where to send the bill.

I hate cleaning tires. This is the dullest tire foam I could find. :)

Eagler, if someone claybars, polishes, then waxes, using a random orbital polisher, then I consider it "detailing". If not, its just as Sandy said, a wash and a wax.
