Hs-293 cruise missile.. would be an effect way to attack carriers and escort ships. Right now folks have to make the cannon ball run to get within torp range or have to keep fingers crossed when dropping bombs. What ya say?

I'd like to see more variation in ack when you're at the waterline. Instead of coming up with super weapons (JSOW anyone?

), I'd rather see a change in the code so that puffy ack can't elevate low enough to ping planes on the deck, and that the small caliber ack (all the trillions of rounds of it that the fleet shoots at you while you're still 3k out) has more randomization so that you can at least PRETEND to line up your torp before being blasted from the sea.

Torps weren't meant to be fired from 10,000 yards away. In this game I have NEVER (repeat: never) got to launch a torp before the lousy stupid uberautoaimbotack shot me into the sea (which, usually, happens in the first second of the ack beginning to fire at me).

Not busting your cajones but have you ever seen old WWII footage of naval aircraft attacking surface ships? The ship gunners shooting at low flying A/C)torp) planes are flailing the water with ACK. Looks like thousands of geysers all over the attacking A/C.

I do agree it is a very hard job to get within torp range in the game and actually survive.

SEGunner, I have seen some of that footage. And for the millions of rounds of ammo they put into the air/sea, the enemy planes got pretty damn close before being shot down. In AH it's "Pass the 3k mark? Okay, 1 ping kill on my mark, MARK!" and you're dead. Not the same at all.

Are you refering to auto ack or manned ack on the ships being uber aimed? Just curious.

Myself, I have trouble hitting low flying planes untill they get to about 4K out from the ship.

I'm not arguing or disagreeing with you at all so don't think that.

My comments earlier about being blown away instantly in AH is referring to the small gun positions (non puffy ack) but the puffy ack can still get you even if you're low but at a distance.
