that Ogame thing

heard people going on about it loads so i signed up (sorry, couldnt find the original post). question to all who play it, what the hell are you supposed to do. what are the basics of the game??

like, how do you get money, what should i build blah blah blah. ty in advance:aok

start off with a solar plant, then 2 metal, then solar, then a crystal
and hit the resource page and "calculate" after every building is done.

and read the technology page and plan for light fighters and light cargo ships...if you're playing in universe 2 or 7 we have alliances in both.

beware though...it's webcrack

Build up your mines first.  Send a Private Message to Bodhi asking to join the AH2 alliance.  This will get you access to the AH2 bbs and loads of info.

Bodhi is probably AFK but PM him in-game to apply to the alliance.  In the meantime here is a good starter guide as far as building your mines up:

To power your mines build your solar plants as you go.  

Ok, here is my thinking. A small cargo *can* net U 5k resources every run. I dont think there is an early game mine to match that  therefore this is your first target. The techs and building required cost a total of 3200/2160/3300 so your aim is 3.3k deut. The rest will come easy. Here is my recommended build order:

met 1,2,3,4
crys 1
met 5
crys 2,3
met 6
deut 1,2,3

I have buildt a couple of solar, one crystal and 3 metal so far. I'll follow your suggestion from here.

Not in a real hurry with any of this, so ill log in and build when i have the time.. pretty low on metal now.

What percentage do you run the plants at on the resource page?

Edit: I think you have to set that thing in the resource area to 100%.

Post your Coords. here guys.  When my ship get's back from Nilson's I'll send you a little start up help.  For right now just concentrate on building up your mines to lvl6 and supporting them with power.  Research only after that to get you some small cargos.  Then you can do some raiding to build up your res.

Rog, run them at 100%.  That adjust your output and is helpfull for producing whatever res you want in more quantities if you don't have the power to run all your mines.  Follow the build order I posted above adding a solar plant when needed.  If this looks like a game you might want to play get the "ogame commander"  It will save you alot of time because you can put your build order in a que.  It's only like $4.
