Nav, you are confusing self respect for community respect. Anyone who posts to an internet BBS in order to gain community respect, in my opinion, has a low level of respect for themselves. What other reason than a deep lack of respect for ones self would cause one to so desparately seek it from the public though a medium like this?
Regardless of the actual motive for the sanctimonious "my property" BS, the "community" can see who is, in fact, whining that somebody they know had a picture posted on the internet and then modified without written approval in violation of some copyright law. They can also see who is acting like a spoiled little kid and crying out "Mommy, make the bad boys on the playground stop laughing, I think it might be at my expense", then throwing is a please every so often to try and take some sort of high moral ground via the magic words.
But go ahead and keep digging, the hole is already up to your eyebrows.
