Use for Bomber Perk points.

I know this has been sudgested.. however the way it was sudgested was akin to dragging your fingernails down a chalk board as it is with so many of the literary attrocities I see vomited up on this forum.
Perhaps it would be possible to add more planes to a formation of bombers by utilizing perk points.
Perhaps making it possible to have a maximum of say 6 or 10 planes.. Loosing any of the planes beyond the standard 3 alloted to a player in a normal formation would cost the player the perk points for those bombers.

The problem is, its those two drones that can get you to the target.  I dont wanna burn perks on planes you know will die, and have nothing to look forward to spend perks on.

I would like the option to burn the perks.

I have 3k ( which is probably average for bomber pilots) that I sure as heck have nothing desirable to use them on now.

Leading a 10 bomber formation .. or, better yet, leading a flight of 10 x 10 bomber formations.

Yup.

Should be a nice FR test.. :rofl

it would make bombers a large fighting force, i like the idea, becuase right now there is almost no point of gathering perks for bombers. i think id have more fun with my perks than i am now, by being able to print them out and throw them at people, just to see what they do.

Copy that, the 234 sure as hell isn't worth saving your perkies for.

I hardly ever fly bombers, and I've got a few hundred perks saved up. Would be nice to have something worthwhile to spend them on.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

I'd just like something else besides that blasted 234 for my buff perks.  This is getting very old.

2 is way too low, it should be "exponential", if possible, like 3 drones cost 5 perks, 4 cost 25, 5 cost 100, 6 costs 200 so on so forth, because that many bombers would be almost invincible, unless alo more than normal people scrambled. cuz 6 bombers would never get shot down by one/two people, unless the bomber sucks as a gunner.

6 bombers killed by two fighters?
« Reply #11 on: October 17, 2005, 06:11:16 PM »
I do like the exponential rule for bombers, but two fighters shouldn't be ABLE to shoot down 6 bombers in box formation.

This would be a great way to use the perkies.

It would also induce more buff hunters, giving them something more to shoot at.

I'd love to spot 6 bombers below me in my Tempest........

ive shot down 2 fighters that were gangbanging my lancasters just the other day they didnt get a one of the 3, if they couldnt get my 3 lancs, they wont get my 6 17s, but they prolly werent that good, considering later i got 2 lancs down by a 109(but that was cuz i had no tail ammo).

basically im saying, fighter skill all that matters, not how many fighters there

Id rather be able to use bomber perks for fighters along with vehicle perk being used for fighters.  Basically allowing all perks to be interchangeable.
