Ok before yall rip me apart with this being posted awhile back. This is a newer version. You download and install the program. You can now look at the entire world. Also, you can get alot closer in some areas and even do a 3d view of the location if it is availible. Was fun exploring the grand canyon in 3d view.

EDIT: put a er on new.

Actually...  no, we've all played with Google Earth for a while now.  Yes, it is different from maps.google.com.  No, it is not new.

I enjoyed the 3d Grand Canyon something like two months ago I think, maybe longer.  It was back when they made Keyhole free.

The big question is why would someone come to a post and be an bellybutton about it?

So...  with best regards....  am I an ass?  Or does a clue-stick need to be employed?  All in all, I thought I was pretty nice about it, considering what, perhaps, it deserved.

On the other hand. Unless a particular thread on a subject is on the very first page. there is slightly more then an outside chance that the person posting a link to a site they may have just discovered. Either didnt see them or missed them entirely when the link was originally posted.

As often as not unless a particular thread gets a great deal of interest and responces. Something posted in the morning can often make it to the second or even thrid pages in only a matter of hours and thus get missed entirely. Unless  you live on the boards to catch every single new thread as soon as it gets posted.

what I dont get is why people get so bent out of shape and self rightous over a post about a link or a story that has been posted already that isnt on the first couple pages in a forum.

I know I dont spend my time looking page after page after page at the forums.
And if there isnt something specifically Im looking for I dont bother going through the first coupe pages of a forum. So I know there are posts that I have missed.

I also dont get why people. if they dont like whats in a thread. Bother even responding to it.
