Sad News...
« on: November 03, 2005, 03:50:40 PM »
Hi Guys,

I gave you an update in October that we had found out that my wife Joy was pregnant with twins. Well, Joy hasn't been feeling "right" for about a week now and her trip to the doctor today confirmed our worst fears; both the babies have died in the womb. I would be a liar if I said we aren't grieving, and we have to go to the hospital first thing tomorrow for an induction and delivery, which will be very hard to bear to say the least.

In any event I felt it wouldn't be right to share the good news with you all, and then leave you in the dark about what had happened. I am still very grateful for the way you rejoiced with the rejoicing.

Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?

The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD.

My sympathies and my prayers are yours.  I cannot imagine your grief, but I'm sure your faith is strong enough to hold you up.  I hope your wife is coping ok.

lost our firstborn child at birth.  She never got over it, and it basically broke the back of our relationship.

Don't let this happen to you and your lady!  Grief is normal and right, but do whatever is necessary to move on from this personal loss, to a better tomorrow.

My condolences, I know how it hurts.

Thanks guys, my ISP connection went slightly nutty so I ended up with three versions of this. My apologies for the extra thread, this isn't something I wanted to make my first multiple.

Sad indeed. Very sorry to hear Seagoon.

Not sure if this means anything, but your faith is a blessing in this case. Many (myself among them) don't have the belief system you have and there are times when that kind of faith is enviable. I'm sure you will find the answers or the consolation you need from your church and your parishoners.

That, I would count as a blessing.
