Seems to happend from d1.5 on in.

Similar to the flutter you see at 2-3k, but diff. in some little way.  They don't just go all floppy jittery, it's more.... someone help me here, more like a true warp.  They seem to "hesitate" a bit, and it's not predictable like a true warp.  With a warp, you have an inkling what direction they "were" going, so you know where they'll end up, but with this.... They are just "elsewhere" flying in a diff. vector.

Sorry not a better explination.  I'm working on getting some film footage.

Oh, and also gunnery is screwed up, but i'm blaming the above on that.  It's like I have to spray a whole heck of a lot more to hit anything, even close.

For example.  Last night I hit an la7 solid in an easy deflection shot, all cockpit, saw hit sprites like crazy, 4-8 sprites, and this is at d.100 ish so I know I hit.  I turn to seek out another con, as they are dead 99.99% of the time when I hit that shot.  Nope.  LA only get's a fuel hit, that's all.  Hmmm... ok then.... set 'em up, and BAM, another solid canopy salvo, pure d100 deflection, ton's of hit sprites, and again, the lala just flies off.  Odd.

I hate using this as an indicator, but I ran my niki bingo ammo last night, and only had 4 kills.  That's unheard of.  I can deack a field, and spray a bit, and typically if I run out of ammo, I have 10ish kills.  But 4??  LAST time this happened, indeed you made some "tweaks" and it was better.  Please look into it for me.

Something is most wrong.

I've noticed this too...and i believe i have some film myself...

The warping really is odd, and it seems to be worse near the ground (at least in my opinion).  Planes that are vulching will come across the field, and look like they're going to nose down, but then move laterally a few hundred feet... they don't "blink" or make those 90 degree turns common with a regular warp...they just seem to slide...  it makes using an Osti really difficult.

Also, the damage model almost seems delayed.  The other night i lit up a that was on a sqaddy with my Mossie... it was an all cannon salvo (no 303's) and i had a ton of sprites... the zeke flew on with no dammage.  I couldn't stay in the turn with him and he stayed on my squddies 6... but I could still see him... about 5 seconds later, he caught on fire, and a second or so after that he blew up.  There was no one else fireing on him... (it was just the 3 of us) and i wasn't shooting at him at the time when all this happened, but I got the kill.  Now, he didn't warp, or blink out, he flew smoothly behind my squaddy till he blew up.  I suppose this may be a seperate lag issue, but it was odd nontheless, and it's happening more often than before.

(BTW, i consistant and steady ping of around 60)

I dont know if they're related, but maybe they are?  Any way, just wanted to say that I've seen it too... so you're not just crazy, or drunk :lol  it does happen!

my problem is when im in a GV firing at aircraft... yesterday i think zorro was flying the plane that i was shooting at.. i hit him, smoked him, and when he got close he would warp when i pulled the trigger... no kidding he made a big Z in the sky with his smoke...  and then a lightning bolt design... what is causing this and what can i do to stop this...

Think whats happening is -
Planes under certain conditions are not aligned with the way they are actually flying. i.e. seen some flying sideways on, then they rotate to the correct alignment and mini-warp to the correct flightpath.
