Skins viewer wont display

Downloaded the new version of the skins viewer for ver. 6. It won't show any other skins except default skins. I click on the browse function, go to the skins folder on my HD; click on a particular skin and get a message saying, "contains no viewable information" or something like that. It is the same with all of the skins in the new pack

Skin viewer will show you the default skins. It will let you export these default skins. Then if you rename the directories and change the skins (create your own) it will show those as well. It will not show in-game skins, part of the skins pack, and the like.
