We got mostly ice and sleet with some powder.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Days like this make me appreciate living here.  Talking to my buddy in Dallas, he's dealing with ice, and I just got home from an 82 degree day with sunny skies and a nice balmy breeze.  Tonight it will drop down to a chilly 65 most likely, with a little less breeze.

I'll think of you poor SOB's while I'm having a margarita with steaks I just tossed on the grill.

You folks in Texas have no idea what a winter storm is.  Come to Colorado.  How much snow do you guys have that they are canceling school for?  a foot is a delayed start and 2 feet is canceled.  Cheaters.

Aye, ice as well Egle, but never fog.  My school district is, in my opinion, one of the most strict regarding cancelations.  Regis Jesuit High School closes when we get an inch of snow "just in case".  But seriously they are closing schools in the mountains now.

Chilly 65?

LMAO at 65 Im still in a Tshirt and working outside.

We're "supposed" to get anywhere from 3-5" tonight and another 3-" tomorrow
which for here is a nice sized storm.
Dont feel too bad for me though as it has become my tradition to BBQ during the first major storm of the year, Blizzards, and The Coldest day of the year.

The toughest thing for me tomorrow will be deciding on if Im doing Steak,Ribs, or a Beef or Pork Roast.
Might even throw a few shrimp on for good measure.:aok

Always wanted to go to Min during the winter for the Ice festival.
Always wanted to do that sledding thing down the side of the mountain and across the lake too. Looks like great fun
Had a Brother in law who's parents lived there and they used to say "As long as the cars will start. Nothing closes down. Least of all School"

I remember my days living in Atlanta.  An inch of snow shut everything down.  I moved there after living in New England.  In NE an inch of snow didn't make the news.  Personally I like snow.  Covers up the cr*p and I mean, he** it's winter time.. there is supposed to be snow.  It also makes hunting Black Bear a whole lot easier.
