NO

why...

Because because it's a hybrid of 109K-4 and 109G, it's not real

People requested a Bf-109K-4 for a long time

Now they got what they wished... a 109 Kurfurst

heh HTC even gave us a bonus!  a 109G-14.

I NEVER wanted a k4.  I NEVER requested a k4.  I knew what the weapons were on the k4 and how it would end up being and I NEVER wanted it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not that the 30mm is a bad weapon but the way it's' modeled makes it a bogus fighter IMHO.  It had an adjustable rate of fire IIRC.  The rate of fire it has been given is very slow!  Perhaps with a rate of fire increase it might improve.  I've see what looked like hits on the planes I'm fighting but ???? no results whatsoever!  And I fire only the 30mm when attacking, so if I see what looks like a hit it should be a hit scored with the 30mm right?  But NO results????  But I have a sux connect anyway.  Lag?, New smoothing code?, whatever?, ...................

I still don't want it!!!!!!!!!!

Want my g10 back the way it was is what I want! OR at least allow the gonds on the k4!  It did ship from the factory with gonds right???????????

You want the "real" 109G-10 back?  Sure i want it back but it will NOT be as fast as 109K-4.  109G-10 is still one of the fastest 109G series.

The "real" 109G-10's top speed is 427 mph. she is slightly slower than 109K-4 (452 mph) and slightly faster than 109G-14 (415 mph)

There are so many "I"s in this thread it sounds like a fight between toddlers...

From what I have researched the G10 was a real fighter craft that did exist, now weather HTC modeled it correctly or not is on them, too me it seems like if they had wanted to make a K4 they would have made it, and called it a K4, but its not its a G10, and if what you said is true and it was faster than a g14, then they should have just updated the G10 with the correct engine specs.

Another feature that would be nice of HTC to put in is a information tab on
each aircraft showing the technical specifications of the aircraft on it, engine data etc.

Or put a gondola package on the K4.   The MGs caliber on the K4 seems too be in some dispute, from what I've seen most say it had 15mm 151/mgs, I have no idea if its true or not, but it seems like the 109 series is nothing but controversy on what model had what, and from what I've heard, but haven't seen yet but it seems like the Germans kept pretty good records.

IMO all HTC had to do for the 109s was update the exsisting ones and add a few, now what you have to do is decide between the G14 which means more firepower but less speed, or the K4 which is more speed but less firepower, granted tater shooter is power full but gondolas make buff hunting and snap shots easier, not too mention G14 has those big MG ammo bumps on the nose that they seem to have fixed in the G10, if the G10 was faster than it    then it should have been remodel too the correct specification.

If the G10 was faster than the G14, however so slightly it should be hear not the G14.  I didn't remember them removing any spitfires, in fact they have an extra one unlike the 109s.

As I've mentioned before it has been confusing too find facts on line about the 109s, seems like one person says one model had this or that and another person says there facts are wrong but they dont offer any valid facts of their own, its and interesting odyssey to find the truth lol

From what I hear wrag the K4 had an option for 30mm gondolas 20mm would be fine though.

In my quest for knowlage on the 109 I have ordered a book on amazon, suposadly a definitive workup on the entire 109 seires with information on all
aspects of them, suposedly lol....

Not too mention the G10 had my squads colors on it, I miss my JG-3 109G10,
whoever did that skin bless their heart lol

The problem from a ToD perspective is that the Bf109G-10 actually entered service later in October, 1944 than the Bf109K-4 did.  From that perspective you'd be adding two Bf109s to cover the same time period.

I think a better approach is to try to get the performance on the Bf109G-14 boosted as it is underperforming right now.  It should do ~415mph at 5000m (16,400ft), but currently only does about 400mph there.

The 452 mph 109G-10 that you want real bad does NOT exist in real life.  The old G-10 we have is a frankenstein like the old spitfire 9.  Thank god HTC did it right this time for spits and 109s.

Im not an anti Luft guy and i enjoy flying 109s (my favorite 109 infact is the *real* 109K-4). Overall 109s is second only to my Fw-190:)

the G14 with it's performance where it should be, would be the quintessential Bf109 variant.  however there is nothing under heaven that would cause the good folks at HTC to model the axis aircraft with 100% fidelity.  It would be bad for business,  the ponies, spits and P38s already fall out of the sky at alarming rates, imagine what it would be like if models were on par.  it will never happen.
