The Weakest Link?

Watch a couple of episodes of friends and you'll see all the inventiveness the writers are capable of. Sarcastic gag after sarcastic gag - all the characters a whiny pathetic types. Only Joey and Phoebe are any good, and Aniston and Cox are great eye candy. More comedy writers does not mean better comedy.

Frasier is actually quite good in comparison. But I think the Simpsons is the best American comedy show since Police Squad.

Besides, it's a well known fact - British comedy is best - how the hell do you think we survive on this rainy little island without it?

Although there have been some really, really poor British sitcoms over the years. The 70's and 80's are littered with them. Except for Faulty Towers and maybe The Goode Life.

SOB - are you talking about Castaway 2000 - a group of 30 people on the remote Scottish island of Taransay? I thought it was quite good and had much more longevity than Big Brother (which was crap after Nasty Nick was evicted).

War! Never been so much fun. War! Never been so much fun! Go to your brother, Kill him with your gun, Leave him lying in his uniform, Dying in the sun.
