John Ashcroft _ Attorney General
« on: January 16, 2001, 02:31:00 PM »
Freaking weird when someone with  high Christian morals is dragged thru the gutter by the left in an attempt to discredit his character to the uninformed. They twist everything around to suit their agenda, once again trying to play the BS race card, among other cards. Fat arse Kennedy is a freaking disgrace and shouldn't be allowed to pass judgement on this decision.. period, not to mention the other liberals on the "board" including the so called "chairman".. Looks like a witch hunt to me. The founding fathers are rolling in their graves... again.

Eagler, thank you for your insightful Paranoid Republican post.

If the Founding Fathers are rolling in their graves, it's because there's a good chance someone is going to be appointed Attorney General of the United States who got beaten by a dead guy in an election in his home state.

And, his High Christian Morals have never been an issue where I come from.  A lot of folks just flat out didn't agree with his view of things in this world, that's all.

And as far as witch hunts go, no one knows about it better than your side.  Thank God we'll have four years of comedic relief after eight years of Republican whining and moaning.

So take heart Eagler!  Your guy won, he's got the House and the Senate for the most part, and with Ashcroft riding shotgun for Dubya, you should be safe and sound from them "East Coast Demmy-crats."

Now stop wasting time, and start shipping those "Vote-O-Matics" to Third World countries, where they belong.

Thank You. Have fun with a dead guy's wife as governor of your state ...
Won't waste my time with the rest of your post but to remind you and your state to please close the voting polls when they are supposed to be, not when you have manufactured enough left votes to win..

I didn't read where he was being "dragged through the gutters".  I believe his political views are bieng discussed.

When I hear "dragged through the gutters" I think of dredging up past events that have nothing to do with the office and making them more of an issue than the qualifications.  Doesn't seem that is being done.

BTW.. I haven't noticed that either the Republicans or the Democrats are immune from the gutter dragging labels.  After each of the last 5 elections, I feel as if I know more about every canditates personal lives than I do about their political views.

I haven't been following the hearings, but I would like to interject anyway.

Of all the sleazy characters in politics today, the one I most detest is that jiggly fat, pink, hog jowled, alchohol soaked, lecherous, overeating, given to excess, vacuum cleaner nosed, addle brained buffoon, Theodore Kennedy.

What a joke. If he wasn't so shamefull, he'd be funny.

But the politician I'm most scared of is Hillary.

Gee Eagler, I guess you better call up Bob Holden and tell him he's dead, because he's the Governor.

But then again, if you can't count, how can you tell the difference between a senator and a governor?

And yes, we were obviously willing to elect a corpse senator instead of John Ashcroft.

And I'm sure Mrs. Carnahan is more of man than John will ever be.

Nanny-nanny boo-boo.

Oh hell Gunthr, I followed that sentence all the way to the end, expecting to see "Newt Gingrich."

What a let down.

lol Mk10... well, Gingrich is not the most charismatic politician, but I think that the pompous, waitress-groping, wheezing and bulbuous red-faced drunken sot of a pig Ted Kennedy has him beat all to heck on the Digust-o-Meter.

Did anyone else notice he was out of breath during the questioning? Ted's a pig in more ways than you can count. But I shouldn't talk about MK's mentor like that..

 LOL! TAKE OFF YOUR BLINDERS!

You guys crack me up-Republican and Democrat are nothing more than "labels" - do you really think theres any difference?

Think about it rationally, both parties make promises they don't keep <and don't intend to> - then point the finger and blame the other party for their inability to "make it happen".

Th party line these slimeballs spew is just grist for the media and public to chew on while the status quo is maintained -  regardless of the political affiliation of the elected official.
