Not that I get the chance to vulch much and I really seem to suck at it:confused: (everyone seems to get to the uppers right befor me) lol
But I really love the A6M when I get the chance. It has some cannon, will fly for a long time on little fuel and after making a pass over a field will turn right back in on it to go again.:D and if your into the perk thing it collects them nicely.
From the ashes of the old we rise to fly again. Behold The Phoenix Wing!

I origionally was just wondering what people thought about dying while completely defenseless. Like landing successfully after your ack position has been obliterated.

I'm like ghi's attitude of a few posts earlier.

Except my wife only loves me when I'm not playing.

IMHO the best vulching Kampf Wagen is the Fw 190A8 you have 780 rounds of 20mm goodness and a 25 ENY to get your perks up quickly.

I remember back in the day  I used to amass about 60 perks with about 15 vulches of fat N1Ks and la7s.

Besides you can brag about being an uber experte Like Blukitty  and kappa do ;)

Best plane to vulch in is a B-17 at 30K. 24 100lb bombs will do allot of vulching. Nothing like lining up and tossing a couple at the ends and middle of the runway. Out of the clear blue.......BOOM!!!!

Ki-67's are pretty good too because they go so fast at altitude.:aok

If you really want to up from a capped base.  Take an LA7 out of the hanger.  Gun it, stay low and extend for as long as you can.  You will get 3-4-5 hungry vulchers following you.  When you have dragged them away either let them kill you or bail.  Then get on the runway and get up fast in opposite direction you just dragged the vulchers.

I tried the Il-2 thing one day. I still couldn't get off the ground.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

25% fuel, no bombs, no rocks... flaps pull stick back and spray at the first red guy you can find.

I like this one.  First good use for bailing I've seen.

Seems to me that allowing bomber gun turrets to be able to fire while the plane is still on the ground would make very good medicine for vulchers :)

No, it isn't.

It's an idea accepted with enthusiasm by all thoughtful right-thinking people.
