It's going good! I'm on chapter 3 (education) right now and have the first batch of supplies ready.

Chairboy,

You're gonna be a freaking hero in the homebuild community if you actually follow through and finish your build while documenting it all online. Did you create that all yourself, or did you use a template provided by someone else? I suggest videotaping or taking a ton of photographs as well, but you're probably going to do that anyhow.

If you're brave, check your local EAA chapter for some cross-link action.

I'll take plenty of photos every step, don't worry. Regarding EAA, I actually made the stub for http://www.eaa31.org/ (my local EAA chapter) with an oblig link to my project. We're figuring out what to put on the website so we can expand it, of course, but after 3 years of not being online, the members are happy to have SOMETHING up.

It LOOKS sexy, but my plane will cruise about 50 knots faster at the same fuel burn, not to mention climb faster.

I've been reading the education chapter, then the whole thing with my wife's parents happened (the fire), and no progress since then.

I'll be starting on Chapter 4 in a few days hopefully, maybe after the funeral.
