That's what they get for going to a rugby tournament instead of an airshow.......

In all seriousness, it looks like minor structural damage and the bird should be quick to repair back to airworthyness. Glad to hear no one was injured. I wonder if the gear lever is near the flap lever though. Could be a pilot oopsy.

Yea well perhs you can get the almighty to help you more with your landings and less with your bullets. Particularly when their headed my way

I havn't heard what was the cause of that Devon accident, the CAA are probably still investigating it. But talking about oopsy moments it would be hard to beat the local farmer who took his Hawker Hunter up for a spin and then land it wheels up on the tarmac... he forgot to lower the landing gear.

Although the damage done wasn't all that bad and the plane was fixed I could hear the screeching of metal on tarseal from my place about a mile away.
