Bomber kills

I was checking my scores on line and noticed that I have only 1 bomber kill but I know I have bombed 2 gvs and shot down 1 P38.  Is it only AC that register as kills for bombers on the score page or what?

Make sure if your in an aircraft that can be scored as bomber or attack that your scoring it as bomber.

Good point Kev.  To try and answer that I did the following.

I went to my score page and got the following stats.
Kills
Fighter 25
Bomber 1
Attack 58
Vehicle/Boat 18
Total 102


I assumed that all Attack kills were from fighters (since that is all I do) so I summarized these totals as
Kills
Fighter & Attack 83
Bomber 1
Vehicle/Boat 18
Total 102


I then when to the kill stats page and pulled out all fighter, bomber, GV and gunner kills from it and summarized it the same way.

Kills
Fighter & Attack 83
Bomber 5
Vehicle/Boat 19
Gunners 5
Total 112


Taking off the gunners as we do not get credit for these that makes a total of 107 kills. That is a difference of 5 kills that can be attributed to a delta of 4 in bombers and 1 in GVs.


So something somewhere is not making sense.  Am I doing / assuming something wrong or is this a bug?

Check 2 other players scores as well and found similar discrepancies.  (Shawk and Airjer).  Check your own....

I think online scores are updated once a day. Go to bed, work, come home without playing and check them before you fly. They should match.

I flew yesterday lunch time PST.  Check today am PST.  I know about the once a day update.  That would not explain why the website score pages don't match.  I would assume both pages (Scores and Kills) update at the same time.

Also, isn't it just the scores that update daily?  Kill data updates realtime (or as good as).

Yeah; total scores update once a day. Kill counts update continuously.

yea about the kill count ingame i shot down like 5 planes in a IL-2 and they didn't register? its been about a week now

If you scored it as a bomber, they don't cound. The IL2 is one of the few Bomber/Attackers IIRC. Might be a F/A. I have no idea any more.

They are still not registering.  Kill in AR234 did not register?

Proxys register in the Kill count, but not in the scores page, if im not mistaken.

ok i know alot about scores if you fly fighter GV kills dont come up. and the sores on the website change at about 11:30 to 12:00 E now the numbers will change and you can see that you have made progress BUT the scores will not change.  in a bomber or attack score your air scores will Not count GV kills.

The other nite I bombed a CV, missed, but hung around the scene with the B24s and tried to draw action from AC with ord.  I shot down at least 3 on that sortie, and did that another time next nite or later same nite, got 2 or 3 kills, some blew up, some went down, and I showed only 1 bomber kill on my score.  
Several days later, and no scores still.  I saw them die, got the kill messages, still no scores for the kills.

Yeah and I bet if you go into the expanded kill page they show there.  This has got to be a bug.
