Japanese aircraft subs

Hey guys,

One of the challenges we have with the PTO are the limited aircraft selection we have for the IJA/IJN.

I would like to have the G4M and Ki-21 (Betty and Sally) medium bombers in this upcoming PTO, and the Ki-44, JM2 Raiden, and the Ki-100.

Here's what I'm proposing for subs
G4M (Betty)- sub Ju-88 or Boston (service date: Sept 1939)
Ki-44 - sub bf 109F4 (service date: May 1942)
JM2 Raiden - sub bf 109G2 (service date: Dec 42)
Ki-21 (Sally) -sub Bf-110C-4 (service date: Sept 1944)
Ki-100 - sub Fw-190A5 or Spitfire V(service date: Feb 1945)

If you have any better ideas on aircraft, please let us know... I only want to hear suggestions, not "THAT'S NOT REALISTIC". :D

Even though its an inline, not a radial, how well do you think the C.202 would work for the Oscar?

We really need to add something alongside the Zeke for the early parts of the campaign.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Way too fast (althought the armament is probably comparable).

that would go a long way to making the setups more competetive.  for reasons of immersion, would it be possible to skin the aircraft with the hinomaru and green skins or is this not allowed by HTC?

Not allowed. The skins have to either be HTC accepted skin submissions (which they won't allow in this case) or built in directly to the map itself as default skins -- and since the map has already been around and doesn't have this feature that's not possible.

remember that if anyone is working on a new Pacific area map, since we have Finnish FM2s in the Karelia map.

The 110 would serve better as a sub for the KI-45. The KI-21 Sally was a bomber. Thats just a small detail though.

The Ki-43  Oscar sub is going to be hard to do. The nearest thing to a KI-43  in AH is the A6m2, without the cannons.  An idea to help out  the early IJN stable might be to bring the A6M5 in early to fill in for the missing A6M3.

Just an idea.:aok
