I'm not going to go and say that any one person is the "best", as there is no best in a game like this.

However, getting into dogfights with Shane was pure hell (but it was a lot of fun). Even five of us in a squad couldn't get him in his La-7... That's saying a lot, really.

I'm going to concentrate on getting better in the 109's and the Yaks. I like the 109's for energy fighting, and the Yaks are incredibly agile down low, and the -9T model has the king of all nose cannons.

I think most people in the MA like to fly a lot of the planes without really *learning* them. This makes for a lot of perk fodder for the more experienced pilots, though I can't say that's exactly a bad thing.

if it is "who is the best drunk in AH" i would have to say Jaxxo.  Especially when he breaks into a rendition of "JAXXO! JAXXO MAN! I WANT TO BE! A JAXXO MAN!"

I believe I actually came up with the term castrati.

Shane may have popularized it though.

Just a coincidence, i guess... haven't played in geez... maybe since last winter, lol...  burn out i guess... might be back someday if the signal  to noise ratio level from noob-vets gets excessive  :aok

but it's nice to know my contribution to the AH lexicon lives on...

With regards to who is good, and who is a good leader, the only name that comes to mind is fester, and even that is a throwback to AH1. While many capable cartoon pilots could lead missions, they don't, so saying who's good at both is entirely arbitrary. I can think of quite a few names that organized successful missions, despite odds or situations, and I can think of plenty of folks who'll handily slaughter me in a fight, but the names that appear in one list don't typically appear in the other.

Just saying.
