F4u-1 ---13 no rearm
F4u-1C--26 no rearms (vulching Bmbrs) :-)
F4u-1C--32 2 rearms
F4u-1C-- 20+ too many times to count
F4u-1D-- 12 no rearms
F6F  ----   11 no rearms
190-A8--18 1 rearm
a6m5b--27 no rearms (23 PT proxies) CV hit PT spawn as I was landing
P-47-D11-- 14 no rearms
P-47-D25-- 16 no rearms
P47-D40--- 14 no rearms
p47-N  --- suks
P-51D -----  12 no rearms
SpitV ------   17 no rearms (old V and all vulches)
SpitIX------  12 no rearms
Seafire----   18 no rearms (all vulches)
SpitXVI---    13 no rearms
Tempest---  16 no rearms
ME262-A1 --12 no rearms  (all lancs lol)
Typhoon --- 14 no rearms
N1k2  ------- 22 no rearms (all vulches)
ki-84 -------- 11 no rearms
la7     ------- 13 no rearms
109-G10----  10 no rearms
P-38L    ----  10 no rearms
P-38J     ----  11 no rearms
P-38G    ----  13 no rearms (all vulches)
I might add that the best I have ever heard of was Todd(Leviathn) landed I think 26 or 28 in a spitV(old version) no rearms and no vulches.  He said he hovered just outside ack range of a base and 2 guys kept uppin to come kill him and of course he pwnt them everytime.  I calculated he was making a kill every 8 or so cannons, that's impressive.  :aok

It's all in my diary, lol.

Actually I do have notes on everthing from highlights of kills landed to notes on how well a la-7 can turn with a spit-16, to how many rounds it takes to shoot down a building with an m3.

When all you got is 2 brain cells left, and they're both fighting over the last bong hit.  You learn to write stuff down. LOL

Neg Schatzi just had a little time to think about it.  I've flown the whole planest enough to know what I like when Im going for big kill sorties.  Those planes I listed are planes that I flew exclusively for a period of time.   I did forget to mention the 11 kill sortie I got in a 205 one time for 84 perk points.  :aok

I generally don't bother keep records of scoring. However, back in tour 30 I began keeping a record of kills and deaths and cause of deaths flying the F6F-5. I have always contended that the Hellcat is grossly under-rated as a fighter, largely due to being used as a bomb truck from carriers.

However, it is a very able fighter that adapts well to any circumstances. Its combination of good characteristics makes it very lethal to anything it may encounter. I don't fly it a great deal (I fly just about everything a little not having any real favorites), but I have great confidence in it to handle anything that should turn up. Its ability to suck up bullets doesn't hurt either, since you're generally unable to run away from a horde.

Since tour 30, a total of 529 kills, 28 losses to all causes, with 19 of those down from ship ack and ground fire.

My regards,

Widewing
