time delay for changing countries
« on: April 10, 2006, 06:56:55 PM »
how about a time delay for changing countries, say something like a few hours. to prevent spies from messing up missions and/or finding your CV groups. say when you change to another country you have to wait 2 hours (or somthing like that) before you can change countries again. just a thought.

This is such a good idea, that I drove down to HTC's office and talked to him. We decided this was an excellent suggestion, and added it this afternoon. There will still be some finetuning, but at present, once you have changed countries, you cannot change again for another 5 (maybe 6 ) hours.

Excellent idea. :aok

it wont stop spies...
a spy doesnt need to change back to his home country to communicate with them - can just use the txt radio.
It *might* mean there could be less spies, but it wont and cant stop spying by itself.

I swear to god I did! Check in game if you don't believe me. "You cannot change countries for X minutes". Those are my exact words, and my lasting contribution to AH. You know HiTech didn't type that, just check the spelling.

Working at the Krispy Kreme across the street from HTC has it's advantages. ;)
