475th's Top 10 Fighting Principles
"How to Fight When The Kill is all That Matters"
1 - ALWAYS look for fights that are already in progress so you can
slip onto the tail of a fighter engaged in a pursuit and easily
kill them. This is the REAL reason the 475th cherishes furballs:
for the easy kills and stat whoring. This is the GOLDEN RULE.
Funny, more often then not you see one of us say "Alert #" on 200 alerting an enemy field we are inbound. I have landed on the ground a few miles away from an enemy field and tried sparking up a fight on channel 200. I eventually got someone to come fight me, it was TC. We had several good fair fights.
2 - ALWAYS look for easy targets, preferably aircraft that are
vintage 1940. Flying a superior plane will almost always get
you a kill. Flying against a contemporary aircraft leaves too
much to chance.
Top 10 Planes I have killed
1 - Spit16
2 - La-7
3 - N1K2
4 - P51D
5 - Typhoon
6 - B24J
7 - Seafire
8 - Spit 8
9 - A6M5b
10 - Ki-84
3 - ALWAYS look for aircraft that are leaving the fight and returning
to base. Chances are that they are either damaged, out of ammo,
low on fuel or the pilot is wounded. In either case, a kill is
easily obtained. Any kill is a good kill.
If this is so, why is it someone told me to furball somewhere else because I said on range channel "let them up off the ground so they atleast have half a chance"
4 - NEVER attack alone. A 1v1 fight leaves too much to chance.
Getting and landing kills so we can see our name in lights
is all that matters.
see #1
also why else would we be so willing to go to the DA with you?
5 - ALWAYS vulch whenever possible. Vulching allows you to rack
up a large number of kills in relative safety so you can see your
name in lights and impress your peers with your gaming skill
and statistics prowess.
see # 3
6 - NEVER attempt to deack a field or attack ground targets. Doing
so will not get you a kill and will only expose you to harm
so don't bother. Let other players take on those tasks so you can
vulch when they are done. You must have no qualms about sacrificing
countrymen so you can get kills.
My Stats again
Top 5 things that have killed me
1 - La-7
2 - Ship Gunner
3 - Ostwind4 - Spit16
5 - N1K2
7 - NEVER concern yourself with a base capture. Use those
attempting to take a base as diversionary bait to allow you to apply
rule #2 and get some easy kills.
Squad has 7 field captures this tour
8 - if another countryman is in trouble and outnumbered
DO NOT attempt to help him. Doing so will only guarantee you
a death and will deny you the precious statistic of
a kill. Besides, we don't care about our country's objectives:
we only want to harvest kills so we can see our name in lights and
drool over our stats.
That contradicts #3 and #4. In order for me to cherry pick, that means I have to kill an enemy on a friendly's 6. Also, why is it I have many people thank me on range channel for clearing their 6? I also apologize a lot of the time if I do not make it there in time.
9 - NEVER auger your plane: your stats are too important to
jeoparize your numbers by ejecting and getting a new plane.
ALWAYS fly back to a friendly base and land your kills - no matter
how much time it takes.
I'm sorry, we find that kamikazi attacks are not as effecient as living through the 1 pass. Why make 1 pass when you can make 2? LCA doctrine dictates keep your nose pointed at the target until it catches fire, which means often you auger into it.
10 - ALWAYS remind players who don't notice how great you
are on their own, that you are the best fighter pilots that the
game has ever seen. Be sure and point out their oversight to
them and show them your stats. We play this game for stats.
Our one and only goal is to shoot down easy targets, land kills,
see our name in lights and accrue statistics
I tell people I suck, as do others in 475th. Ask viper215
I am done, yall are not worth the time. But hey, if you have no other life than trying to annoy people in a game keep trying. I don't want to ruin your fun, You are not bothering mine one bit.
