Hey Nash... think you mentioned that you went to a Flames game earlier this year.

I noticed during the playoffs that with very few exceptions ALL of the fans wear the red jerseys. Is that traditional?

Hell... here in LA, you will always see a mixed bag of black or white jerseys with the occasional old skool yellow.

Yeah, I winded up going to a bunch of games this year.

It's called "the sea of red." It's got a life of its own now. Like the "red mile."

People in this city go nuts during playoffs.

That's cool as hell. Nearest thing I can compare that to is Oakland. I went to the AFC playoff game a few years ago... 60,000+ all in black. It was pretty friggin' cool.

What's kinda funny during playoffs here, is that... well...

Ya got yer usual Monday-Thursday business dress, along with casual Fridays sponsored by the GAP.

But on game day, no matter what day, it's all business from the waist down, and all jersey from the waist up.

This past season at Penn State, we had 2 White Outs.  100,000+ all wearing white filling the stadium.  That's not to count the thousands more outside tailgating still wearing white.

So my hockey pool picks are 6 Red Wings and then 4 from some other teams.

And now wings have one of the most spectacular flame outs in history.

Another year.

Another $25 down the toliet.

If you want any team to lose next year just ask me to pick them in the pool. It never fails.

Wasn't really a surprise. Detroit won the easiest division in the league.
