So the movie Flight 93 is coming out and all I keep hearing about is " is it too soon?"


Too soon?

People don't want the wounds to heal, they want to forget completely.


We have people acting like ostriches with their heads in the sand not wanting to hear anything about 9 / 11, surfacing only to yell anti Bush statements, or pull the troops out of Iraq.

Yeah, unlike that other movie with the twist at the end.......what was it?

I support the war in Iraq and am glad that an attempt is being made to capture 911 through film, but I seriously doubt I'll be seeing that movie in theatres...  "Too soon" sums it up somewhat..  I just, well, I dunno.  I just really don't want to see it right yet.  

If it's made well though, I'm sure I'll watch it someday when it's out on video, so keep us posted if you see it and what you thought.  I hope it is very well made, I'd like my kids to be able to have some clue what that day was like.

Man, I thought you were gona say Pearl Harbor, cause when I watched that I thought for sure Ben Afleck and Josh Hartnett were gona shoot down all the planes and then rally the troops and save the Arizona

I personally don't think its too soon, some folks in this country (and the world) may need to be reminded why we're camped in the back door of the Middle East at the moment...however I personally will not see the movie. I think its too soon in  my memory to re-live that of that tragic day.

It is completely up to the victim's families as to whether or not it is "too soon".

As I understand it they have said it isn't...so I'm with them.

I guess there is a difference between

"too soon"

and

"act like it didn't happen"

I just feel too many people are of the second nature

What did people say when Pearl harbor was attacked?

We were attacked and everyone living in the USA and all US citizens need to remember 9-11 and those that lost there lives.

Every Dec 7 I remember, & every 9-11 I remember. We should never forget.

It's worth noting that the US government used an extensive propaganda program to keep people focused on the war.

I'm not sure how disagreeing with the war in Iraq has anything to do with forgetting Sept. 11th 2001.

Last time I heard, some fella named Osama had something to do with it.
