Poor Moussaoui wants to change his plea
« on: May 08, 2006, 08:48:18 PM »
Proof, I guess, that the guy was a dusgusting loser to begin with.  Even by islamo terror standards.....

He now says he thinks he can get a fair trial, even by american jurors.

http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/05/08/moussaoui.ap/index.html

Explaining his latest reversal, Moussaoui said in an affidavit:

"I had thought I would be sentenced to death based on the emotions and anger toward me for the deaths on September 11. But after reviewing the jury verdict and reading how the jurors set aside their emotions and disgust for me and focused on the law and the evidence ... I now see that it is possible that I can receive a fair trial even with Americans as jurors."

There shouldnt be no trail, hand him to the cia and let them beat him till all the info comes out of him.  Then when hes useless kill him.  The guys a terrorist and wants to change the way we live our lives here in the u.s.  Whos the guy that decided to give him a trail?  The guys a terrorist.

BK, read your statement carefully. Pay particular attention to the part about how we live our lives in the US.

Well, if this was israel we could do it your way. While I must say i don't entirely disapprove of the concept; i suspect this could be considered a 'makes us no better than them' thing if we just summarily whacked off the guys head.

*sigh* Rule of Law. No head hacking allowed.

Guys, guys, guys...why does every reply have to do with some violent act on some person who *may* or *may not* agree with what the US represents.  Remember, we have what's called "due process", so there isn't much you can do to get around that.

Of course we wouldn't even be having this conversation if we'd a just nuked the butterers in the first place.

VOR,

You're right of course, but you could also have mentioned that bandit needs to check his spelling, punctuation, and capitalization.

Among other errors that made reading bandit's post physically painful, trails are for hiking, court trials are for criminals.  With that many errors, it's tough to care much about the actual content because the author obviously doesn't care enough about his own message to make it reasonably readable.

The truth may have finally dawned on Mr. Moosesowee....and it is NOT relative.

Truth:  "I'm not going to remain anal retentive for very long."

Ergo:  "I need a new trial."
