Bought the new Red Hot Chili Peppers CD, Stadium Arcadium today...It's really good!  Some of the songs have a real old school chili peppers funk feel!  I highly suggest it to anyone into them...Like always, theres not a bad song...

On a side not I bought the cd at best buy...Apparantly best buy cell's all cd's within the first week of release with a significant rebate...I bought it for $11.99, and they said next week it will be up to $18.99.  Good to know

Heh, that statement killed your credibility regarding the chili peppers.

If they covered a Hank Williams song, they could be somebody....

It's pretty solid. Especially for 3 albums worth. I woulda rathered it be parred down to 15 songs or so, but oh well.

They get better every time they make a record - and this is no exception.

There are enough singles on this record to be an A&R guys' total wet dream. You'll be hearing this stuff on the radio well past next Christmas season.

Yep.  Pretty much contrived corporate safe "alternative" music you can listen to with your parents after Mother's Milk.

I have not heard the new album, but yesterday heard one of the news songs on the radio.

Don't know what song it was, but it started and I  turned it up ( before the vocals hit) and thought: "sound's kind of cool, I'll give this a chance"

I knew who it was the instant he vocals hit, then I kinda took a more critical view......since all the newer Chile Pepper stuff basically sucks.

But I ended up thinking that they have found their old sound again. I was impressed.

If by "found their old sound" you mean lifted Tom Petty, then I guess they have.

They are definitatly going of there norm for me.  For all the guitar lingo people in here.  John uses the Phase shifter a whole hell of a lot in this CD compared to the other ones that were in my time.  (AKA BSSM, One hot Minute, Californication, and BTW)

Is it just me or does Anthony Kiedis now look like Iggy Pop?
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

and is his voice getting worse? he can't even talk in key let alone attempt to "sing"

if i hear that acapella outro to that "don't stop.... whatever" song again i will shoot my radio.

as far as i am concerned after under the bridge got played on pop radio their music has gone to the sewer.
