Big Bug- holding left mouse button is not on

INMHO, this patch was rushed in without considering the wider aspect of it.
I honestly feel really sorry for any guys using a mouse with this patch, I use one when I log on from my office and then a stick back home.
What I found was that if you use a mouse you are  hosed comepletely, went home and set it up and had around 30 mins of messing around with control mapping  for no benefit what so ever.
Question : Why did HT introduce the need to hold the left mouse button down constantly to do anything?
What bugs has this fixed ? The way I see it, the last package was working fine with a few minor glithces. But this is a joke and it better get sorted as I suspect there's a few unhappy campers out there who are probabaly weighing up their options.
I'm sure we'll read the  usual folks typing the usual such as " give it time" "working really hard" Fact is, when introducing an update, you fix it first, check that the basics are working,  put yourself in the customers shoes and try it from their perspective. So come on guys, lets try and fix this, It's a great game after all !

PS My bug report is that apart from  mapping, low FRs and such, my view snaps to back right for default

Holding down the left button is no bug fix, it is a conspiracy to force those of us that fly with a mouse to buy a joystick.  Either that, or all those flying with expensive joysticks are sick and tired of being outflown by the mouse pilots.

I have been playing for about three years now, always with a mouse.  I find it provides better control than a joystick, at least until now.  There is no way to hold down that left button, adjust throttle, and fire the guns.  I have crashed more since this patch, than I have in the last month.  

GV's are not as bad, but still not as good as before.

Not to provide the option to use the mouse in the old fashion is definately the real bug in this program.  This new left button thing can be the default, but we should have a mapping option to return to the old mouse function.

I have been playing AH1 & 2 for about 4 years and have tried both a joystick and mouse and prefer a mouse. I was pretty devastated when I first logged on to 2.08 and could only fly with the left mouse button pressed. I have to actually position the curser on the cockpit joystick first and then hold the left button in to engauge my left & right axis controls. I still havent worked out how to slew my guns, turrets or even get a GV to move yet.  I certainly hope a solution apart from me buying a joystick is on the way.

I 'may' be doing a slight ovehaul on it, no promises, or details .
Lets just say a pic I recently found (only color one of a blue Malta Spit), shows something maybe different.

Got for it Kev !, you sir and guys like Greebo etc are the real unsung heros of AH, These skins are a big part of the game for me and I can't thank guys like you enough!

I'm still saying what a co-incidence. Well anyways, about that skin. I'm using it in a new map of mine that's still in the works. It will be an island hopper's map. Hopefully not too big!:)
