In pan mode before you could use the 'forward up' view to rotate the pan down..  This still does not work..  Only way i have found to rotate your view down is by using 'forward' in pan mode..  Is this correct?

I'm experiencing that little bug too. I assumed others were as well.

They fixed the F-8 view with patch-1 but some people are still only able to look around using the Number pad keys. That's the way it was for me before version 2.08 & I never bothered to figure out why, I just got used to it being like that.

HT didn't think this was the case and said that nothing should be different there so I just went and reinstalled version 2.07 to verify this and it wasn't any different than the new version.  Using forward up in 2.07 didn't do anything in pan mode either.  Are you sure you just didn't have that mapped to forward?

Positive... b/c I could pan all 4 directions w/ one hat switch..  3 ways work now but not the 'rotate down' pan..  My views on my hatswitch have not changed..  At least not that i can tell.. They all still 'look' the same in instant view as they did before.. If you're sure, I could be missing something but can't figure it..

How do you normally map your hat?  Most people map their hat up to a forward view and then use a different button as an up modifier.  You're saying that you normally map your hat up to look forward-up?  Are you sure you didn't have it set that way as well?  Seriously, I tried to see if that would work in 2.07 and it didn't.

I have the up hat setup as Look Front Up, and it doesn't appear to function in Pan mode, nor did it before the update and patch. It's a Saitek Evo, programmed only in AH. No SST profile or anything of that nature.

I could be crazy and have changed something before in the last few years.. But I don't believe so..

My hat is a 8way switch..

up - up forward
upleft - left up front quarter
left - left
down left - left rear quarter
down - rear
down  right - right rear qtr
right - right
right up - right up front quarter

As it is now in pan mode on my hat...

up does nothing
up left rotates left
left rotates left
down left rotates UP and left
down rotates up
down right rotates UP and right
right rotates right
up right rotates right

I dunno what has changed.. But all the ways I use to rotate pan view up still work.. I cannot rotate down with my hat anymore.. My hat views are the same now they were..  Seems strange how I can still get up rotation from my lower part of my hat but not down rotation from the upper part of my hat like I did before..

I will keep trying to figure it out on my end..  I am certain before I could use 'up left/right' to pan down and left/right at the same time, in other words move my pan diagnolly.. and my up would pan down..  I think I kept that wording straight.. ha

Thanks for your time 8)

My left and right forward views pan diagnolly down left or right..  My high 6 view pans up. My up view pans up. Forward up, before the patch, paned down.

Panning has not changed, and works exatly like previous version.
