When your first response is "They are lying about something."  no matter what the news is I would say your the one with the kool aid addiction.

I was listening to Air America, to hear how crazy the extremist on the other side are tonight, and what they had to say about Zarqawi's death....

Mike Malloy, and it seems like all of his listeners believe that 9/11 was an inside job by the government, so start a war with Iraq...Bin Laden is employed by the CIA....And Zarqawi is 1 of 2 things....1- employed by the CIA, the same as UBL....or 2-  A fictional character, brought to the spotlight by elaborate military deception......

He even went to the point of saying, "Zarqawi isnt the type of guy you want living next door....well, I dont know..Maybe he is?  Who knows what is true and what isnt true with our nazi government"....

What a crackhead

hehe... I just checked out the AA website.  Ya know, just from the stuff on the front page, it's really gotta be a kinda "suck in the doofus crowd" angle on making money rather than serious political commentary.

oh, wait.

That would be yesterday when we were having a gay flag burners that wanna get married constitutional crisis.

I miss slow news weeks.

I'm just glad that, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is dead. I've never said this about another human being before in my life but I really hope he rots at the devils doorstep.

I've said it about a lot of people. There are several people who still need killing & it's just too bad we can't bring this particular pig humping punk back to life & gingerly slice off his head nice & slow. I'd like to hear him gurgle his last breaths.

Just thinking about crushing his teeth one by one & pulling hunks of flesh off him with a pair of pliers makes me smile. Every once in a while it strikes me that being Lucifer might have it's rewards now & then.

 Burn in Hell zarqawi.

I hear you...Like I said earlier, I almost feel like I am going through the emotions that my grandparents generation must have gone through upon news of the death of Adolph Hitler...It's pretty nice =)

WTF are you talking about?

I say "YAY...al-Zarqawi is dead!" and you say "yeah he's dead but our govt is lying about something I don't know what but they have to be lying because they came out to quickly with the info and I know that can't be good because they lie so much it has to be a lie.".

And you call me a cheerleader? If by saying good he is dead makes me a cheerleader then fine you can call me a cheerleader.

A brown shirt republican? Where the hell did that come from? I didn't know you had to be a Nazi to be happy he is dead. (btw I would rather be a brown shirt republican than a pink shirt cuddlinghunkcrat)

In case you haven't been paying attention I am not a Republican. I would not join ANY party. I have always chose the person I felt was the best for the job.
Now I used to say I was more of a Democrat until Slick got elected then I saw the party for what it was. It's the party of victims. I chose to think for myself and listen to all sides but believe none of them totally.

BTW just because I'm not a Dem does not make me a Repub.

Seems to be a very well orchestrated release of info.. I'm a bit suspicious of timing, and I think the relevance attached to his passing is greatly over done. I smell an AQ rat in cahoots with Iranian interests spoon feeding intel to us to make the hit.

Regardless, killing this guy was a job that needed doing.

Which for some reason twigged yer biscuit. No, I don't abandon all reason and logic when I watch the news. I have a brain, and occasionaly employ it as a filter. This isn't a position that should require defending..

As I remarked before.. keep drinking the koolaid.

In the "not a big surprise" category, Iraqi reporters cheered the news that Zarqawi is dead, while American reporters didn't. In fact, over the past two days, the American mainstream media has been working itself into a frenzy trying to tell people that this is not only "not a major blow to terrorism" (Sawyer), that we should expect [translation: we in the media fervently hope] "things to get dramatically worse"  (Russert). Some are even spinning this as a "good" for Al-Qaida (CBS), something that one would normally expect only Al-Qaida and the most rabid "martyrdom is victory" Islamists to say.

In any event, I've never been so disgusted with media coverage as I have over the past two days. That the American media are in a funk over an American military success in Iraq and the war on terror is to be expected, but the levels to which they are sinking rival the famous "condolence telegram" sent by Eamon De Valera (the President of the Irish Republic) to the German Government on the death of Hitler.

I think Noel Shepperd nailed it on Newsbusters.org when he wrote:

Quote
"If Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri, and all of al Qaeda’s leaders in Iraq and throughout the world laid down their arms and surrendered to American forces, would the media report it as good news?

Judging from the initial press reaction to the killing of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in Iraq by the American military on Wednesday, the answer appears to be no.

In fact, this tepid response to the death of the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq – a man who has at times in the past couple of years been depicted as more vital to this terrorist network than the currently in-hiding bin Laden – suggests quite disturbingly that America’s media are fighting a different war than America’s soldiers.

According to NewsBusters, CNN’s senior editor for Arab affairs Octavia Nasr said the following about Zarqawi’s death on “American Morning” Thursday:

"Some people say it will enrage the insurgency, others say it will hurt it pretty bad. But if you think about the different groups in Iraq, you have to think that Zarqawi's death is not going to be a big deal for them."
