Two different AGP questions

Question 1:

I have noticed when looking on newegg's category list that there is an AGP 4x/8x, and then there is a AGP Pro 4x/8x. What is the difference? If any? My motherboard (for example) says it can handle up to AGP 4x/8x. Will AGP Pro work in my motherboard?


Question 2:

How can you tell if a video card is 3.3v or 1.5v? My motherboard (for example) says it will not support 3.3v, and to look for a notch at a certain point to determine if it's a 1.5v card or not. However, when looking at the ati x1600 I noticed a notch in about the same place, but I would assume the latest card with the most powerful GPU would run on 3.3v. Is 3.3v common now, or what? Second part of question: Are the latest x800 and higher cards 1.5v or should I "browse" lower?

and agp pro slot is about on inch or so longer than a regular agp slot.  the newest agp and pci-e card run on the lower voltage. but your cards mfg website will tell you for sure
