OK, I plugged it in the sound card. How do I use it while flying?

Thanx MURDR. I got it figured out about an hour after I posted. Just needed a little patience on my part!

What are the advantages or disadvantages of using the "Wave In" box in the radio set up?  I've always wondered what that was for.  I read the tutorial, but don't know what difference Windows API vs Direct X makes.

I dont know what the setting actually DOES, but it did cause problems for me once.

Having it on cause me to have freezes every time i started a transmission.  Unchecking it solved the problem back then. While i was busy finding the issue and trouble shooting, i heard others had similar difficulties but the other way around, ie they had to have their box checked.

My (PC clueless) guess would be that its a hardware/driver specific thing that you either need or you dont.
