This left turn from Rozanov street to Khoroshovskoe highway in Moscow is described as "intuitively understandable" or "subconsciously comprehended", I can't find a right translation, hope you understand.

This is a part of a "Third transport ring" in Msk, it was built in 1997-2002. I wonder what designers smoked to invent this. Other junctions are no better, but this one is an apotheosis of idiocy. A tiny railway line on the map is in fact a HUGE railway hub with maybe 100 tracks.

Disclaimer: I don't drive. I hope I explained one of the reasons why.

A kindergartener's fingerpainting makes more sense than that.  Musta been a commie that designed it.

LOL.  City planning at it's finest.

That picture loaded so slow I had an uncomfortable 14.4 modem flash back.
Do not attribute to malice what can be easily explained by incompetence, fear, ignorance or stupidity, because there are millions more garden variety idiots walking around in the world than there are blackhearted Machiavellis.

That just goes to prove that while 2 wrongs don't make a right, three lefts do.

I thought things were perfect in the workers paradise. Why would abnyone there even remotely want to criticise this absulutely wonderful example of engineering.

Note for the sarcasm impaired the above was and IS sarcasm.

Bummer there, hopefully later designs will be better.

it does allow you to traverse 4 different highways at one intersection... it'd be a nightmare though trying to get through that.

What you don't know is there is a eye in the sky watching for the amature driver that can traverse this in under 10 seconds.  The day this person shows up, Russia will force on to the world a new Formula One superstar.:lol

That's a good one Borada.  Those are called 'mix masters' here.  And many highway designers have taken the word to heart.  Some of our local mix-masters are sheer works of insanity.

And the ones which used to make sense, are being overhauled.  I think the state highway department is running a contest.  "The Obfuscated Road Work Award".

I wish I had some aerial shots of them.  I am sure the look of spaghetti in a plate would make more sense.
