The search for a second interview
« on: June 26, 2006, 08:55:31 AM »
Im now looking for another player to interview. The first interview was a fighter pilot. For July's newsletter I'd like to find someone who may be a dedicated bomber pilot, someone who is heavy in events, or who tries to capture bases on the map. Please nominate people here, or yourself if you feel you fit the bill. I think it will be interesting to get an interview such as this to get their take on the game they play.

Filth,

Try Flossy.  She's been bombing for Years now, pretty much all she rides in events.

Flossy would be a great choice.  Does she still play much?

I'm pretty sure he's on his way to bomb something, and that the mass genocide is just coincidental to his bombing passion.....

Ya Flossy is one Id like to do. But I havent seen her in ages. As far as a "dedicated" bomber...it doesnt have to be someone who only bombs..merely someone who will from time to time. I will be submitting a bomber tips page in the newsletter this month, and I think it would be nice to have an interview along those lines.

Some LCA guys would be good too, and get some insight on how they function. Event types...I will be doing a well known fighter pilot for August, but July's will be a different breed of cat.

How about Corky, or someone like that? I can understand why you wouldn't want to interview us, but choosing someone from the LCA, or any group who only speaks when trying to piss people off wouldn't do anything but encourage more of that type of behavior.

I may be in the minority here, but I'm more interested in the guys who offer more to the community than just aggrevation and a target. Guys like Corky, Widewing, etc, who have a wealth of experience and general knowledge of this type of game, the planes, etc make the bbs and the game a lot more interesting for me, and maybe many others.

I probably don't speak for everyone, but I don't care much about the gameID that I only see in a kill message, or landing kills. They may be great people, but if all they do is show up in a system message, meh, who cares, ya know?

Anyway, my $0.02.

Well if you're looking for a bomber type guy 999000 is probably the most widely respected bomber pilot in the game atm and I wouldn't mind reading an interview about him.

As others suggested, Corky or Widewing would also be excellent choices.

I think an LCA type would be interesting, if only to see what they do with the opportunity...

Widewing makes a heckuva lot of sense to me.  Think about all he's offered to the community, whether it be in the TA, the info on each and every AH plane and performance, and his incredible knowledge of the history, both of the planes and the people who flew them for real.  He also clearly knows how to get the best out of the planes in AH too.

I'm not sure what he hasn't done in this game to make it better.  I'd sure like to read that one.
