I think that it will come down to the absetee ballets. Its that close and I wouldn't care to call a winner. Whoever wins, it certainly won't be by 10% though. More like 1% or maybe even by the Electoral College.

HA!!!The way it looks to me, here in California and 2AM is as follows:
Al Gore will win the popular election by a few hundred thousand votes.
If the recount in Florida comes out the same as the first count, Bush will win Florida, and the Electoral College, by less than 500 votes.
This would make George W Bush our 43rd President. It would also rob him of any kind of mandate.
Its kind of ironic that the exact opposite scenario was being discussed with trepidation in the "Popular Vote vs. Electoral College" thread.
If Bush does win this one, all you Conservatives had better thank God for Ralph Nader. He will easily have been the difference between a Gore victory and a Bush victory.
