Event CO Training Corps
« on: July 10, 2006, 03:58:42 PM »
Ladies and Gentlemen,

The CM Team is contemplating the formation of a Training Corp to offer classes to those who wish to expand on their scenario or event involvement.

The idea centers around the desire to fully train those players who want to delve deeper into the Events like FSO, Snapshots, CE and Scenarios yet may be unsure of how they actually work.

The classes would teach you how to generate and distribute quality mission information, use of strat maps, how to promote and lead your groups.  These classes would expand on the different leadership requirements between the different events, and could be a great benefit not only to scenario play, but could extend back into the MA for your squad.

We would be interested in our more experienced leaders who have led our events to victory and defeat to bring their experience to the community as well.  The training corps would like to see a blend of CMs and Community Members come together and help our events continue to improve.

Does this seem like a worthwhile venture?

I think so ROC.  To know that the commanders for each side have been through standardized training would certainly give me the confidence to attend more events.

It sure beats taking orders from someone wondering if it's this guy:

gotta agree with golfer on this one Lord ROC.  I would love to attend a training on this.  Would definately add credibility to the leaders of the events.

Directive Noted.

Hadn't picked a name yet, still thinking about whether or not there is interest in the concept.

I'd take it.
A Rook who first flew 09/26/03 at the age of 13, has been a GL in 10+ Scenarios, and was two-time Points and First Annual 68KO Cup winner of the AH Extreme Air Racing League.
