this guy is even a bigger tool than I first thought ...

Kerry knocks Bush on handling of Mideast conflict

"The president has been so absent on diplomacy when it comes to issues affecting the Middle East," Kerry said. "We're going to have a lot of ground to make up (in 2008) because of it."

Actually, this much of it is correct.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I think everyone except the diehard Democrats are tired of hearing the Democrats blame Bush for everything from terrorism to global warming. What exactly did Al Gore do to prevent global warming when he was VP and what did Clinton do to prevent terrorism?

To say that the current admin has been absent from middle east foreign policy is a really ignorant thing to say.

Bush admin has been dealing directly with all things middle eastern since 9/11/01.  To suggest that having a democrat in office "right now" would have prevented the Iranian tools in hezbollah from attacking Israel is just more proof of acute liberal ignorance.  I recall the liberal King Bubba doing his utmost darnedness to bring a lasting peace to the middle east and look where it got him.  if old Slick willylicker cant get those two pathetic peoples from knocking the snot out of each other what makes you think a limpwrister like Kerry could have done anything better than bubba?

Nothing and No ONE (especially dorkmeister Kerry) can prevent violance war and destruction in the middle east as long as persians and arabs are hellbent on destroying Israel.

Since a democrat is claiming he woulda done better I think it's kinda relevant to point out that they didn't when they had the chance.

Or current involvement in Iraq has probably limited our options WRT the rest of Middle East. I can think of a couple of traditional conservatives that would agree. ;)

Well I kinda read that as Kerry saying it would not have happened had he been in charge..we will never know.

I take it that if you are blaming Clinton for 2001, then you place the blame for 1993 on George the first?, naw republicans can do no wrong

I blame terrorism on terrorists. It's impossible to prevent terrorism in a free society.
