I wish we had 5 Inch manned ack at all bases. Today I hit a b-24 four times in the body with no sign of damage.

I wish that too. Maybe just three tho, wouldn't want to over do it. It would really put the fear into the planes asigned to de-ack. Force the bombers to go higher, I love this plan.

Been asking for increased base ack for a while - the 5" single replacing the 37mm peashooter ack would get my vote as a stopgap.

All the bases already have an 88 (or what looks like it) there. Just make it so we can man them. Be nice to man the ack at the towns also. Let the AI control them until someone jumps in.

I do not think that the manned ack is an 88mm, just does not do enough damage to aircraft.

If it is suppose to be an 88, than it made need to be modeled better.

the puffy ack at bases are 88's the tracer ack is 20mm's and the ack you can man is 37mm.
