Disregard Ranger.  May stupid arss didn't scroll down to where it said "Start Download Here" (OMG>>>>>>DUH!!).

A little help from anyone.  I know the file needs to be unzipped.  Do I the goto HTC folder create a new sounds folder, copy paste Ranger's into it, and then remove (or rename old sounds folder?

Download the zipped folder to desktop.  Unzip it.  You will have a folder now called RangerSounds Platinum.  Open it.  Inside there is a folder called Sounds.  That is the soundpack that you will be transferring .  Open your AHII folder.  You will see a folder named Sounds.  If it is the default Sounds it will be empty.  Delete it.  If it is an existing soundpack rename it something other than Sounds for safe keeping in case you want to go back to it. Example SoundsX.  AH only looks for the folder named Sounds.  Now take the new Sounds folder on your desktop and drag & drop it into your AHII folder.  All done.  All you are doing is replacing the new Sounds folder for the old one.

Installed last night.  Way cool.  I did notice the flaps on b-17's is very quiet though.  I didn't get a chance to test any other bombers.

Harley just follow Ranger's instructions listed above.

Ranger, great sounds sir all of them :aok

i love the sounds but it seems that ive become so accustomed to Mitzu's old pack that i cant seem to get a hold of yours... :( although the GV sounds and filler gaps for the newer planes work perfect for what i need :)

trying to find a way to hook up the cleared for takeoff sounds and the gear sounds with mitzus pack to mix em... having trouble with that one. :headscratch: probably much more simple than i expect. :lol

First time on since downloading your sound package Ranger. Salute Bro, I for one can appreciate all the time you spend trying to make this game a better environment, considering your RL duties.

Sounds awesome Ranger. :D

Only thing I'd say is a bit (not annoying per say but...something) is the "cleared for take-off"s and GV start-up talking.  First time I've had anything but stock sounds for anything WWI-related (been lazy), the guns sound great, as do the few WWII sounds I've heard in the little I played today. :salute
