hi all.

im a little new to the game. only been flying for around 2 months but i would like to make up a Squadron. when we have a enough members i would like to be an escort Squadron and also do resply runs on airfield under attack to keep them going.

id like this Squadron as my brother was in it and did safty equipment. it is now a reserve Squadron. which he didnt knwo till i told him last week lol. he hasnt been in the raf for around 12+ years now and he missis it alot. so i though id pay tribute to my bro and his fellow work mates who where a good laugh. and looked after me as i was only like 10 when first starded goin gto bases on holiday to see him.

as i said mainly fighter based but if we get good bomber pilots we can branch out.

hope to hear from ppl. and if ppl want to help run it you're welcome as im in the uk and most of you play when im asleep. lol

plus i could use ppl with more experience then me helping.

thanks
Guyver

Hey man good luck with the squadron :), i am in 71 squadron and its cool to see a sister squadron coming up, some of us fly at european times too.

Since your brother was in it you probably have a ton of stuff about squadron history and the like which is always good to flesh it out a bit and make it more lively.
I am sure your the right man to found that squad, you have a verry good reason to do it. I hope you find some european pilots to stick with you, always great to have a 3-4 men core team that has been together in squad for a while, while the squad grows and shrinks always remember it s not really the size that matters.

We fly spitfires as squadron plane like the historical 71 squadron did, well we enlarged it a bit to all spitfires. The historic 71 did fly hurricanes at first so we use em too. But while not on squad sortie our pilots are free to fly whatever they want, i mostly fly 109k4 which doesnt fit to the squad but well, its a nice plane

If you need a wingman for a sortie or have questions about squadron stuff feel free to ask me, i am a bad trainer but i gladly fly as wingman if you wish. Not that i am a good pilot in any way but i can look around and warn you of enemys and play bullet catcher.

ciao schutt
