WWIIOnline soooooo close
« on: February 17, 2001, 02:52:00 AM »
Well, I won't be getting ANY sleep for a month or so as I frantically check my e-mail for an NDA.  WWIIOnline has gone into Beta V and they are starting to add people by the hundreds!

You don't think it's even in the slightest bad taste to post like this about a competitor's sim on the company sponsored BBS of HTC?

You guys continue to amaze me. Are you people that stupid and immature?

This at best belongs on the off-topic section. Not here.

Neg Westy. Is it the long one on WWIIOL pricing?

When I said "You guys" I was only referring to the people that post this junk. I think it really is rude and inconsiderate - regardless of whether HTC is a company or not. It's just my opinion, but promoting a competitor here is bad form. Certainly HTC knows about WWIIOL, but that doesn't change the etiquette.

A point was made in the other short thread about WWIIOL that this is valuable information for HTC. If these posts were on AGW or Dogfighter, or anything similar, HTC would have equal access and I would bet the farm HTC reads those boards too.

My point, and it is just my opinion, is that posting this kind of thread is still rude.

Well Pakrat should I delete all My threads in wwiiol's ubb where are letters AH ?

Then I should propably delete all my texts there... and when I think about it I should remove my posts from couple other ubb too (Couple Finnish boards and B-17 II at least)

Remember: This is "Two bladed" sword, It can turn against you.
IMHO it is nice to notice we dont need a forum like AGW to talk about topics we like.
