I think the Russian Katyusha

Rocket launcher would be a cool area effect weapon for the GV side of the house.  It might mean that HT would have to come up with some sort of rudimentary aiming method but once done and in the MA you could have scores of thes Katyushas launching rockets at GV bases and such taking out hangers and strat along with the occasional GV.  It would certainly add a new twist to the ground side of the game.  I would bet the sound file for the firing sequence would be awesome !

It better cost perkies and i think the Land mode for the ship guns would work but of course there is a max range. Plus, don't forget Frame Rate problems.

Have often asked for the Studebaker truck and trailer to be implemented some day.

Basically the truck carries ammo for what ever trailer option is chosen in the hanger.

Katyusha trailer           (land mode only with min as well as max ranges) (30 sec reload per 16 rocket salvo)
88mm field gun HE, AP (sight only) (as per tiger)
5" field gun HE             (land mode and sight) (as per ship)

You could also do other stuff with it but thats an easy minimum starter.

You tow the trailer to a location and deploy it (which may take some 30 secs) but puts you under camo netting with no icon.

If it was lightly perked then a formation option might make it interesting

edit

In fact we already have 5" spinner rockets modelled on the PT boat. I am not sure if they are the 5000 yard or 10000 yard range versions. The ECO 80 carried 16 of them. So sound files and flight dynamics are already modelled.

Nice idea but rockets on PT boat are about as useful as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest.  they would be just as useless on the back of a truck.
I am not ashamed to confess that I am ignorant of what I do not know.

The IL-2 carries the Katyusha rockets as well.

Not exactly. RS-132 and M-13 (Katyusha rocket) has same caliber, but was different rockets. M-13 was longer for ~0.5m, has more powerfull charge and greater range.
