For better or worse, that is one of the few days of my life that I will remember with perfect clarity.  Today will be a day of reflection for me and I hope you all take a moment to remember.

thoughts & prayers to the families destroyed that morning

thoughts & prayers to our arm forces taking the fight to them

thoughts & prayers to the people and their leaders present and future, here and abroad - may we all have the fortitude to follow through and stay the course so that what happened 5 years ago will never happen again or if/when it does the ones we have voted in to lead us have the courage and guts to quickly punish those responsible & those who back them

I was a freshman in highschool when this horrible day happened.  Its something i will never forget.  I watched LIVE on television in my school, people jumping from the builings and watching the collapse of the Twin Towers.  Its something that has made me the person i am today.  God bless our troops over seas fighting for our freedom!!!!!!

Today is surely a day when all Americans need to unite!!!

On this day more than any other I am proud to support the Armed Forces of the United States.

To all those in service, both civilian and military, who protect and defend the values and integrity of the American people.

We are traveling today. We refuse to allow terrorists to destroy our chosen lifestyle. I'll remember those who were killed by the cowardly attack on civilian targets and pray for them and their families.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

I was 21 had been in the Army for 1 year at the time. I woke up that day to my mom screeming her head off that we were under attack! I jumped out of bed and was like HUH? When I looked at the TV it seemed like a movie was playing I even looked at the DVD player to see if there was a disk in it. I knew things were going to change and I had this gut feeling that they were going to change for me in a hurry. At about 0900 that morning my mom's phone rang it ws my Company Commander he said that I needed to get back to Miss. ASAP and that he knew that there was a hold on any flight's I tould him that i would be there as fast as i could get there. Mom loked at me with tears in her eyes and asked if that was the service calling me back to the base? I tould her yes and that i needed a ride to the JRB in Ft, Worth to catch a MAC flight out to Keasler AFB. and On the way to the Base i remember the radio playing the reports of what was happening in NY. I tould mom and daqd goodbye. got on my flight scared like a little puppy looking at 4 big pitbull's . got to Camp Shelby and I dont know why but we never got deployed I got lucky in one tence and in anouther I was ready to go fight.  Sorry this is so long and my spelling isnt all that good.

to all
