Migets Subs, that is...

think PT boats underwater,

German:

Type XXVII B "Seehud"
u can take yer Type IX u boats and shove it

Japan:

Ha19, only one i know of

Britain:

how 'bout the X class

Now, if only the TGs whern't bookin' so freakin fast so the subs could actually get to em

i was thinking, yes, thinking, and since AHII treats the so-called "ocean" as flat ground but blue, and with "splashes",  can't there be like an alternate altitude JUST for the ocean squares?

like, - Alt?

make it so aircraft, can only fly round in positve alt, 0 = on ground alt of 1ft and above in air

but subs, in general not just midgets, can only go alt 0 = surfaced and -1 and below = submerged, also you could give each sub it's ceiling, where it finally gives in to the imeanse pressure, should be too far down, like 150 - 250 meters should be sufficiant.

mabye this would be good for aircraft too, when the crash over ocean, no screeching sound, maybe just a splash sound, and then u have NO contols u just sink at a fixed rate, if u don't already just die on impact

it'd be nice, very nice, and don't have to worry about things like the periscope right off the bat, i would thing a moving part with an alternet view would be diffucult to do, deck guns would be cool too, and hey, we already got one, that single barrel five inch on the CV's and the 20mm cannons on the Destroyers, of course these things would be on bigger subs

also you would need to have a simple timer for air. this gives way to new stuff for aircraft, we'd have a reason to have planes for anti-sub work, i would imagine the sonar/radar for anti sub wouldn't be too difficult, just have a set range and working altitude, like flying under the dar, just the opposite, then just pull up the map, and when sub is in range, you'll see it as sum sort of icon on map.

of course then we'd need new ord, like depth charges and anti-sub torps, but i'd stick with depth charrges for now, they'd be simpler, all you'd need to do is just, take a bomb, say a 500 pounder, remodel it to look like a depth charge, give it a proximity to explode like ack, and make it so it can fall into negative alt, BUT, when it hits 0 alt, give it a splash visual, and make it's rate of fall slow way down.

o, and if u look into periscope under water, so u can take a gander, or in a H2H that has F3 enabled(then u could rly cheat!:t ), make it look like alot of fog but with a blue/green tint or sumthing, atleast for now. i say keep it all very simple at first.

subs would be another way to kill TGs, and hopefully one day BBs

just an idea

but idk, i'm just typing what comes to my head right now, i rly don't like my programming class.:(

If you ever go up to the rearm pads, look at the size of the buildings compared to the plane. Youd swear that there are midgits living in there rearming/refueling

Don't go to wikipedia they sometimes have inaccurate information.
