Enron's Fastow to Serve 6 Years
« on: September 28, 2006, 03:36:48 PM »
Fastow, CFO - 6 years - minimum security + 2 years probation
Delainey, head of energy retail - 2 1/2 years
Glisan, treasurer, already returned from prison after serving less than 3 years.

What's the matter with that judge Hoyt?

For comparison, Worldcom boss got 25 years (low security mind you, and he just announced that he's gonna appeal)

Meanwhile little Joe got cought smoking pot 3 times. He's serving 25 as well...

Well in all fairless, they plead out and helped the Gov't nail the bigger fish

Sadly that guy (Lay) died, so your right...the "feeling" that justive mighta been done isnt there.

I thought he'd get the full 10 he'd bargained for, not less.

In all fairness, the only sentence any one of these unforgivably greedy parasites deserve is 30 minutes with each of the families and retirees whose lives they wrecked.

This whole pack of bottom-feeding, self-serving leeches deserves far worse than a couple years at a country-club jail.  And Lay got off easy.

Instead, they get caught and turn on each other like starving hyenas and cry about how it was somebody elses fault, and they were 'only following orders'.

In truth, I'd just like to see them completely cleaned out...all property, all assets, all cash, everything.  Leave them a 40yr old 2BR house on a tiny plot in a questionable part of town, a 12 year old clunker of a car and $500 in the bank.  Set them up with a difficult, dirty low-paying hourly job.  Then leave them to enjoy the life they've chosen for so many others.  THAT would be Justice, in my eyes.
