Time to depart from Squad Ops
« on: September 29, 2006, 03:21:45 PM »
After 5 years, and being there on day one in Squad Ops the 332nd Flying Mongrels is moving on.

We wish everyone in Squad Operations the best.

I want to thank all the CM’s and Frame C.O.’s who, over the years have provided us with countless hours of fun and some unforgettable Squad Nights. Our Friday nights will be in the AvA, Main arena, or the CT when it comes out.

This is a sad day for Squad Ops. :(
332nd has my deepest respect, I really hate to see this classy squad drop from FSO.
880 wishes you guys at the 332nd all the best.

Daddog and all our Mongrel brothers.

Having been an honorary Mongrel several times, I'm going to miss you guys immensely. It just won't be the same. :cry

Just to be clear. The reasons Bad Company Clan and the Mongrels left are (as far as I know) completely unrelated. Nothing was coordinated about it. I did not even know they were leaving.

My squad voted on it and most wanted out. List of reasons is long, but would serve no purpose to post them here.

To all in the 332nd:

and best of luck to all.  Hate to see you guys leave.  If on occasion and if there are any stragglers that would like to fly on Friday Night the 325th would take them in provided we do not exceed our numbers  I'm sure most of the other squads would feel the same.

Daddog to you my friend you were one of the few that did a lot to make these fun Fridays happen.  Your behind the scenes magic was greatly appreciated.

Well, 332nd Squad Night is still 11pm ET on Friday nights, so it'll be very rare that any 332nd pilot is available to bolster a Squad Ops roster. That doesn't mean we don't appreciate the offers that some of the FSO squads have extended to the 332nd. We most assuredly do appreciate it and respect you guys.  !

Of course, all the offers does mean we could cherry pick some of our favorite rides. "Oh, the 325th got assigned Spit XIV's? I never get to fly those in events!"  ;)  I keed, I keed...  (Triumph the Comic Insult Dog voice)

Sorry I have a standing order in all my FSO write ups that Daddog and Nifty are to be assigned sopwith camels if they attend (the easier for others to collect the still standing bounties on ;) ). Now for the rest of the 332nd .. oh, yeah you are correct. ;)

G/L 332nd!

I guess we won't be able to get an opposing CiC matchup again, DD.. That WAS one of my most intense AH experiences! Maybe another day..

SALUTE to all the 332nd!
