AH on LAN help
« on: August 16, 2001, 04:44:00 AM »
I connected two computers in home LAN, everything was OK, and all of my games (WarBirds, Flanker etc.) ran through local network IP correctly and smooth.
Sorry guys, it was my first time AH LAN experience, but if I try to create/join the sessions in AH it ask me for ID/password. I had type all of this - "cannot find host". It doesn't work  :(. So if I not connected to the internet I can't join or create H2H game? Or what?
What stupid I did?
Help masters please.

Hi F.A.B.
The H2H game in AH still goes through the Hi Tech Creations site. It is not possible to set this up using a configuration which is not connected to the internet.  :(

At all time? Or just to verify account info before the Game start?

Thank you, snafu.

I  believe you need to be connected to the Internet to start the game, and to join the game.  Once everybody has joined, you may be able to drop the Internet connection, but I have not tried it.
