Took the website link out, too many hits I guess
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We're driving up to Mount Vernon on Friday.

They have one female I'm interested in. I'll give all the pups a behaviorial test based on which would be the best hunting and family dog, but I'm partial to the females at the moment (the last 3 male hunting dogs I've hunted with haven't performed nearly as well as the 2 female hunting dogs I've hunted with in the past.)

We leave in 2 hours to get our new puppy! The boys were so excited that they got up at 5am! (no school today, thankfully)

Added pics of the puppies and their paperwork

The Sire's:

The Dam's:

The family has agreed on one of two names, depending on if our new pup is male or female (we'll decide once we give all the pups a puppy behaviorial test.

If its a boy, Winchester (Chester for short)
If a girl, Naughty Nellie (Nellie for short)

I breed dogs, - well, bastards. We had our 4th batch this year.
The dog is a Border-Collie vs Collie, the mother is a Border Collie vs Labrador.
They mix incredibly well, and from experience with bastards vs purebreds I am shy in my approach to a purebread....
I'll see if I find a picture link ;)
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Hehehe Rip.  I don't think there is anything cuter than a Lab pup.  A golden is a close second.

Have fun cleaning up the pee!!!

When we house broke our lab, we did the whole kennel thing with a divider so he had enough room to laydown and turn around but not enough room that he could do his thing in the corner and get away from it.

The little bastage figured out if he put his fanny up against the side of the cage he could poop thru the wires onto the floor outside of the kennel.  :D  :lol

I knew right then and there I had a smart dog and was going to be in a lot of trouble.  Have fun with your new family member!!!

Great choice.

Going on 5 years since I rescued Bradley from the pound.. hard to believe it's been that long. I remember talking about it on this BBS.. Feb or March of '02 I think. He's getting pretty gray around the face now.
