OOPS...<blushes> geez, just reread my post and the following ones...
Well, yep, I was DL'ing the "competition"...but I also had the problem when Dl'ing the latest version of AH and playing EAW offline... ;-)
I have the same problems with WB online...in fact I have found it almost unplayable...
The connexes to the AH server(s)? have been better than those to those "other guys."
One question...does DSL improve the connex/data tx/rx situation? Or is it simply a bigger pipe with the same amount of water running through as the 56k modem (such as if AH is written to support a 28k data stream or the like)?
